Activities planned at Tech@Edu
The following activities have been planned at Tech@Edu to draw the target audience -
- The Expo: Seemingly the first expo of its kind, where the academia will be able to feast their eyes on the latest technology solutions available for enabling education.
- The Workshops: A powerful platform for educating the educators of the nation, wherein they will be able to listen to keynotes, panel discussions and case-studies shared by the leaders of the industry, and their peers who have already tasted success with technology.
- EFY Tech@Edu Awards: A new initiative by the EFY Group to recognise the leaders from the education sector, for excellence in technology adoption in their respective institutions. Around 50 awards will be handed over to the top-shots (chairmen, directors, dean, principals, etc) of the leading education institutions, which will include:
- Government colleges
- Self-financed colleges
- Government schools
- Self-financed schools
- Training institutes.
- The Academia Industry Summit: Another initiative to bring in the leaders from the academia-herein, we will connect them with thought-leaders of the industry The objective of this summit will be to facilitate the industry in having a candid discussion with the academia, and let the academia know the short-comings that the industry encounter amongst the fresh college/university pass-outs who join the corporate world. The goal would be to identify short-term and long-term steps that the academia can take to bridge the gaps.
- Edutech: A parallel event being organised by the EFY Group, will bring in educational institutions offering professional education (ex: engineering colleges, BBA and MBA institutes, etc) as exhibitors. We do expect certain decision makers and influencers from the education sector to visit their booths, or that of their competition, and thus add to the overall target audience that will be catered through Tech@Edu.
